Who We Are
Inner Room Psychology is a specialist clinic providing evidence-based support for people navigating eating disorders, body image challenges, and anxiety. We are based in Melbourne, Victoria, with in-clinic appointments based locally and telehealth services offered Australia-wide.
What We Offer
We provide a supportive, non-judgemental space for clients to explore challenges, build insight, and work toward lasting change. Our approach is evidence-based, focused on collaborative care, and taking the time to understand the person behind the challenges.
We are currently welcoming new clients and referrals. We provide support for individuals experiencing:
Binge Eating Disorder
Bulimia Nervosa
Anorexia Nervosa
Cycles of Restricting and Bingeing
Restrictive Eating
Mild or early-stage disordered eating (EDNOS/OSFED)
Chronic dieting or difficulty maintaining a balanced relationship with food
Body Image Concerns
ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
Anxiety Disorders (including health anxiety, GAD, panic, and related concerns)
Because of the level of medical monitoring required, presentations such as Anorexia Nervosa are not able to be supported through telehealth alone. Based on our availability for in-clinic and telehealth appointments, we will advise on the most appropriate option based on the concerns outlined in your referral. Kindly indicate your preference in your referral so we can best accommodate you.
Please note that due to the limitations of a private practice setting, we are unable to provide treatment for individuals who are at significant medical or psychological risk, including those with very low body weight or active suicidal ideation.
